Match Report
Forres Sandle Manor School Girls-U13 vs  West Hill Park School
On: Wednesday, 19 Jan 2022
Venue: at Home

After a 'slight hiccough' in the afternoon's proceedings, we gave West Hill Park's U11s a little warm-up game before our U11s returned from their 'road trip!' With us playing out of position and not at full strength, the WHP girls gave us a good run around with their nippy feet and darting moves. The posts were a little lower than our usual height, which was somewhat off-putting, but the purpose was to warm up the opposition and we succeeded in that (3 - 2).

Thereafter, we played a 5-a-side match, using the Bee Netball rotation system. Players had been evenly distributed according to experience, and everyone had to play every position. It was good to hear the girls communicating much more clearly. The pace was fast - too fast at times, and players need to ground their landing more steadily in order to avoid either stepping, or making an off-balance pass. The game was more even than the score would suggest; the player combinations and rotations together perhaps impacting the scoring outcome. 7 - 2 to the blues.
