Forres Sandle Manor School Girls-U9 vs  Sandroyd
On: Tuesday, 15 Mar 2022
Venue: Away

FSM's U8/9 netball team was on top form today. Shooting has become more and more accurate over the last few weeks, persistent practice paying dividends. We played against Sandroyd's 3 teams in rotation, with a bonus repeat round against the first team, thus 4 matches in total. Marking has been a recent focus, and the girls have really taken this on board, with all 6 sticking much closer to their opposition and making it very difficult for them to make a pass. FSM's girls are really quick at taking advantage of a turnaround in play, zooming up the court into a space, and this is what helped them get so many opportunities to shoot. As mentioned, shooting has come on in leaps and bounds and Unathi was particularly on fire, barely missing a shot all afternoon! This earned her the coach's 'player of the game' accolade, with Sandroyd congratulating Isabella for her excellent play, too. Alice and Vhukhudo get the 'most improved markers' award, with Evie and Elora impressing with their use of space. And if ever you need cheering up, just listen to these girls give their opposition 3 cheers at the end of a game! Such enthusiasm is a treat! Well done, girls.
