U11A at Ballard

Our under 11A team travelled to Ballard. In the first match, Charlie led the way with the tackling on a very muddy pitch. Mac soon emulated the famous Fran Cotton photo by being entirely caked in mud! It was soon clear we were the stronger side and a number of tries were scored with two from Thomas, two from Jack and one apiece for Hardy, Mac and Henry which gave us a 35-10 victory.

In the second match it was again largely us on the front foot. We played some nice running rugby and began to offload well and spread the ball to Hugo who kept his shape. Tries were shared between Thomas (3), Mac, Jasper, Jack and Henry. Special mention must go to Jasper for his unselfish play near the opposition's try line. This game finished 35-0. Every player played his part and Mac, on his birthday, led the the cheers at the end. Men of the match: a solid team performance. Well done boys!
