Match Report
Forres Sandle Manor School Boys-U10A vs  King Edward VI Prep School, Southampton
On: Wednesday, 20 Nov 2024
Venue: at Home

What a day it was at FSM, despite the bitterly cold weather! Our determined boys didn't let the chill dampen their spirits, and they had a fantastic afternoon filled with rugby. A bus full of KES players rolled in, and our brave seven took on two formidable teams.

In the first match against KES A, our boys found themselves up against a well-drilled side. It was a tough challenge, highlighting some areas we needed to work on. However, in the second game, the boys really pulled together. Tom C took charge in the middle of the park, making an impact with his passing plays, while Tom K, ever the little poacher, was darting in to snatch the ball from even the biggest KES players. Oliver and Joseph showcased some dazzling footwork, proving that a bit of cold weather wouldn’t stop them!

We rounded off the afternoon by mixing teams for a few Barbarians-style games, where the boys settled into some exciting, fluid rugby. With Hugo and Blake powering through with strong runs and the passing flowing like Fijian internationals, it was a delight to behold.

Despite the cold, the smiles and laughter from the boys warmed us all over match tea. Great stuff, lads!
