Having not had much time together as a team before today, the girls played extremely well throughout the match. They didn't let going a goal down in the first 30 seconds affect them as they soon took control of the ball and created some solid chances in front of goal. Bea and Sophia linked up well and scored the 3 goals between them. Leila was solid in the middle of the pitch and started to read the game better as the match went on. Lorelei made some great runs on the left wing and controlled the ball well when in possession. In defence, Rowena and Darley-Rose were solid and cleared the ball effectively when danger was approaching. Unathi was solid in goal and I was impressed with how she was willing to dive around on the floor to make saves. As a team though, we made some silly mistakes at crucial times which allowed the opposition to put us under pressure and score. It has been a positive start to the season as the foundations have been set.
