With the teams slightly re-jigged to match the opposition mixes, the Y3s and Y4s enjoyed a busy afternoon of tag rugby. There was a lot of progress made during the 4 games played, with the starting formation getting a little stronger each time. The referees were encouraging the players to run forwards, and Olly, Blake and Georgiana really took that to heart, landing the ball over the line for tries. Tatty, Hattie and Victoria gradually got more and more stuck into the play, and Clemmie had an eye for picking up a loose ball, neatly avoiding being tagged at the same time. Harry was usually in the thick of any scrambles for the ball and began to remember to pass backwards when he won it.
Lots of rugby, lots of fun, lots of progress - and lots of hot chocolate - what's not to love?!
