A fantastic afternoon of football at Ballard in slippery and cold conditions!

The team adjusted quickly and brilliantly on the big pitch, playing full 11 a-side. We played both the Ballard A and B teams which was a great challenge for the team.

Leila did a great job in goal, showing confidence and composure, meaning FSM kept a clean sheet.

In defence to start with we had Eva, Anna and Anastasiia. All girls did a great job throughout of protecting the goal and clearing the lines where necessary.

Bea and Lucille created great width and provided an outlet on the wings, as well as getting stuck into tackles.

Siena, Poppy and Sophia showed dominance in the central midfield and Florence and Emily made some amazing runs as our forwards.

Some brilliant long range goals from Emily and Siena in the mix as well as some strong strikes from Florence and Sophia, securing some impressive goals throughout the afternoon!.
