Lost 9-7

This season I have always looked forward to taking the girls for their matches. They continue to impress me with their play and have really held their own against some strong opposition. Today was no difference against Sandroyd in a very evenly contested match. Both sides scored lots of goals with both Lorelei and Bea converting their chances. On occasions, we made a few errors which cost us but overall we can be proud of our efforts. Unathi, Leila and Rowena were strong in defence with Unathi being voted defender of the game having made some vital saves throughout. Sophia was a constant nuisance in midfield and linked up well in attack. Darley-Rose and Anna played hard on the wings and made some crucial passes. Bea was always a threat down the right-hand side and created our chances in front of goal. Lorelei, who was player of the match and star of the show, held the ball up brilliantly and scored 4 cracking goals in front of goal.
