Having had a few weeks off hockey I thought we might be a bit rusty in our game play. However, in the end there was nothing to be worried about as we probably played our best hockey this season. What impressed me the most, was how we kept to out positions well and when we lost the ball we got it back very quickly. Lorelei was a menace up front and despite not scoring was my player of the match. Her touches and passes were excellent throughout. Bea and Darley-Rose were a handful on the wings and scored some cracking goals between them. Bea with two well struck finishes and Darley-Rose following up a rebound. Sophia had her best game as she moved around the pitch well and got her deserved goal from a cracking finish from the top of the D. Leila and Rowena were solid at the back and they both played crucial passes and made some great tackles throughout. Eliza stepped up from the Bs and made some great saves throughout as we ended the game 4-1 winners.
