The U11 A girls team faced a challenging day at Salisbury Cathedral School, playing two matches with determination and skill. In their first match against Saint Francis School, the team fought hard but ultimately fell short, losing 1-0. Despite the defeat, the girls displayed great teamwork and resilience throughout the game.
In their second match against the hosts, Salisbury Cathedral School, the team showcased their improvement and tactical awareness, resulting in a hard-fought 1-1 draw. Emily was a standout performer, making three spectacular saves that kept her team in the game. Elora’s speed and tenacity were key, as she won possession frequently and created numerous opportunities for her teammates.
The squad played beautifully, coming agonizingly close to scoring on two occasions but unable to convert those chances into goals. Their courage and stamina were evident, as they maintained high energy levels throughout both matches.
