What a wonderful afternoon for Football here at FSM. It was brilliant to welcome Moyles Court and Ballard for a mixture of 11-a-side and 6-a-side games.

We started by playing the full 11-a-side against Ballard and it was great to have the space to play the ball around and run! The team worked hard and were able to set up a solid defence of Leila in goal, Lucille, Anna, Eva and Anastasiia holding together the back line. Bea and Poppy worked hard on the wings, with Emily, Siena, Sophia and Florence working well to drive the ball forward. A cracking goal from Emily to get the game going with a first time strike from outside the box! Siena chased down every ball and managed to get two goals from the game! An excellent performance from the team.

We then played Moyles for some 6-a-side with Leila having a run out on pitch and bagging two goals! One of which was an absolute cracker into the top corner! Emily scored another showing great work rate all over the pitch first half.

Going into our final game FSM showed their fitness working hard on and off the ball! Goals from Florence, Siena and Emily secured a great result. Anastasiia and Lucille showed great awareness making some crucial tackles near the goal line. Eva managed to push forward and nearly scored on the very last kick of the game!

A massive well done to all involved!
