First up was Clayesmore and it was a tight contest with us just shading the first half 3 tries to 2. The second half ran in the same way and again we scored 3 to their 2 giving us a well fought for victory. Tries came from Hardy (2), Hugo (2), Charlie and Henry.

Next up was Embley. Unlike Clayesmore and us, Embley had played rugby for the first half of term and this showed as they were well drilled and organised, running away with the result by scoring 6 unanswered tries.

Our U11 team was a mixed bunch with some seasoned old rugby heads lining up alongside boys playing in their first ever match. Special shouts go to Jason, who was very keen and to Hugo for his leadership. That said, man of the match goes to Henry for his brave tackling throughout.
