Match Report
Forres Sandle Manor School Girls-U10A vs  Port Regis School
On: Wednesday, 13 Nov 2024
Venue: Away

FSM v Port Regis B: 7 - 0

Today's match was admittedly one-sided. However, it gave us an opportunity to really work on skills, formation and accuracy in passing. We've been working on turning away from tackles rather than just trying to use brute strength to go through opposition sticks, and it was great to see the girls putting this into practice. Another positive was the pace the girls have developed on the ball, and a better awareness of when to pass. The attacking nature of our game also gave us the chance to swap around positions, bringing our defenders out to get more involved in the action. Indeed, our goalie, Isla, played out of goal in the second half, taking the opportunity to score a goal!

Port Regis chose Violet as Girl of the Game; Miss N chose Penny W for brilliant low blocks and huge progress in turning on the ball, and Polly for being the pivotal player and setting up almost all of the goals.
