Won 3 -1 Goals: Bea x 2 and Sophia

The girls deserved to win in their final match of the match having really improved their hockey throughout the season. They passed the ball well and stuck to their positions which meant WHP found it very difficult to get the ball out of their defence. Unathi made some great saves in goal, clearing some dangerous play from their strikers. Rowena was again strong in defence along with Sophie who made some important tackles. Leila's passing was accurate and strong which turned our defensive play into attack very quickly. Sophia used her skills well and linked up well with Bea who caused lots of problems down the right hand side. Anna and Darley-Rose played solid on the left and linked well with the rest of the attack. Lorelei was once again a nuisance up front and caused lots of problems for the defence. We finally scored a goal from a short-corner as Bea converted the chance the well. it has been a very positive season where the girls can be proud of their efforts.
