Forres Sandle Manor School Girls-U14A vs  Moyles Court Tournament
On: Tuesday, 24 Sep 2024
Venue: Away

1st game : FSM 1 -1 Ballard The team started off the tournament with high energy and a positive attitude; it took them a few minutes to get into the swing of things and shortly scored a goal and Ballard equalised soon after.

2nd game: the girls had got into the groove of the game by this point. They were able to sort themselves out on the pitch and communicate with one another. Poppy and Flo did a great job in captaincy, guiding the girls on and off the pitch. They very quickly scored a goal and with great possession and pressure on the other team ended the match 3-0 against Moyles Court.

Due to having the same amount of points as Ballard, we played them in a final round. Within the first 10 seconds we scored. However, we need to focus on keeping our heads up and marking up even when we have the advantage. Our defence was great throughout, yet Ballard scored in the remaining minute, leaving the final a draw (again!). However, we managed to win the tournament as we had scored the most goals throughout the games! The girls should be incredibly proud of their decision making, resilience and team work. Despite having known each other for just under a month, they worked very well with one another while remaining respectful and humble throughout the tournament!
